Two routes on the Vipava Valley gravel roads all the way to the sea and back
VIPAVA VALLEY GRAVEL by DEŠ FLEŠ is an unsupported cycling event that takes place on the most beautiful gravel roads of the Vipava Valley. Cyclists are guided along an unmarked route with the help of navigation devices (or pre-prepared maps) with GPS recording of the route. Registrants will receive a GPX file with the exact route before the event. Participants prove the accuracy of their journey by submitting a file with a GPS record of the route traveled upon arrival at the destination.
There are no marshals, no route markings,no routing tables, no intermediate stations, no organizer's help on the route, just you and your bike.
Long 100 race
Start: 30.5.2026 at 10.00 a.m.
The more demanding route is 100 km long and is suitable for better prepared cyclists. It has a total of approx. 900 m of ascents.
The route is of a competitive nature with timing and prizes for the best and publication of the overall results.
Short 40
Start: 30.5.2026 at 11.00 a.m.
The less demanding route of 40 km has approx. 300 m of climbs and is suitable for recreationists and families. Riding with ELECTRIC BICYCLES is also allowed.
The route is not competitive, there will be no timing. The aim of the participants is just to cycle the route and socialize while riding in a relaxed, recreational rhythm.
